Our Board

Bill Taylor, Founder and Treasurer. Bill began his transition from management consulting to social work in 2005 following a holiday in Bali where he and Pat visited an orphanage for underprivileged girls. That initial experience has evolved into the current SE Asia Foundation where many educational and other organizations are now served each year in Cambodia, Myanmar, and Thailand. Bill leads our focus on sustainability by providing funding and coaching for long-term success. Here’s a video describing that process. Bill also serves on the Board of Directors for Give2Asia, a large San Francisco based 501(c)(3) doing wonderful philanthropic work in 25 Asian countries.

M. Peter Scontrino, President, holds the Ph.D. in industrial organizational psychology and still maintains an active consulting practice serving local and regional companies. Peter travels to SE Asia and collaborates with Bill Taylor when they offer leadership and management training sessions to the CEOs and leaders of the organizations that the SE Asia Foundation supports.
